Japanese label Doublet’s 2018 Spring Summer collection was inspired by ‘deadstock’ apparel, with this specific piece wrapped in a vinyl sheet of deadstock packaging. The elements of protection and decoration are retained throughout the lifespan of the garment, with the designer intending for the changing qualities as it ages. Condition is used, with the intended ageing effects visible, and some minor small stains shown in the images
